 Tennessee Electronic Library (TEL) Use the Tennessee Electronic Library to find full-text magazine, journal, newspaper, and reference book articles and citations on a wide range of topics. TEL includes: Gale Virtual Reference Library,
a database of encyclopedias, almanacs, and other reference sources, plus the
General Reference Center Gold, a general interest database
integrating a variety of reference sources.
Health and Wellness Resource Center includes magazines, journals, newspapers, definitions, directories, videos and information on: Fitness, Pregnancy, Medicine, Nutrition, Diseases, Public Health, Occupational Health and Safety, Alcohol and Drug abuse, Prescription Drugs, etc. Included are links to diet, cancer, and health assessment sites as well as government databases.
General OneFile, with access to millions of full-text magazine and journal articles on a wide range of topics. Kids InfoBits, meeting the research needs of students in Kindergarten through Grade 5, with information on current events, the arts, science, health, people, government, history, sports and more. Literature Resource Center,
which includes full-text journal articles, literary
criticism, reviews, biographical information, and overviews on thousands of
writers. Also includes the Twayne
Authors Series and the Scribner Writers Series. What Do I Read Next? includes more than 130,000 recommended titles, more than
74,000 plot summaries, and awards information from 568 awards. several other databases geared toward particular subject matter, such as general reference, business, health, literature, technology,

Alexander Street Press
offers the following music resource:
Classical Music Library -

Newspapers offers free access to the archives for the following Tennessee newspapers:
Chattanooga Times-Free Press, The Commercial Appeal (Memphis),
and Knoxville News Sentinal. This archive includes full-text articles, including news, sports, and obituaries in an easy-to-search database. Also includes access to America's News Magazines, a collection of news, business, lifestyle, sports, and entertainment magazines. Ancestry Library Edition (formerly Ancestry Plus) is a comprehensive online source of information for conducting genealogical research.
It includes searchable images of U.S. federal census records, the Social
Security Death Index, and a variety of vital, church, court, and immigration
records. This database is for in-library use only. Access is also

BookFlix is an interactive literary
resource that builds a love of reading and learning in a fun, online
environment. BookFlix pairs classic video storybooks with nonfiction eBooks to
reinforce reading skills and develop essential real-world knowledge and

Auto Repair Reference Center is a database including automotive repair information supplied by Point 5 Technologies, Inc. The
Ebsco Auto Repair Reference Center contains information on most major manufacturers of domestic and imported vehicles, with repair information for most vintage makes starting as far back as 1945, factory drawings, step-by-step photographs, and wiring diagrams.
Small Engine Repair Reference
Center is the definitive online tool for small engine repair assistance,
including ATVs, commercial mowers, farm tractors, generators, motorcycles,
marine (boats), outdoor power equipment, personal watercraft, tillers, and other
small engines. This comprehensive resource contains 400+ reference books in full
text with photos and illustrations that guide the user through every repair job.
Many engine models have more than 25 years of coverage, and the database offers
assistance in conducting routine maintenance, such as tune-ups and brake
service.
Points of View Reference Center
is a full-text database for students that offers a series of essays
presenting multiple sides of current issues and controversial topics.
EBSCOhost
Research Databases, including GreenFILE, with information covering all
aspects of human impact to the environment, with a collection of scholarly,
government, and general-interest titles, and Library, Information Science,
and Technology Abstracts (LISTA), which indexes hundreds of journals, plus
books, research reports, and proceedings.

Facts On File On-Line includes access to:
World Geography and Culture Online provides more than 1,500 clear, full-color, reproducible maps and a wealth of photographs, flags, statistics and data on more than 200 countries, plus states, territories, regions, and continents. The Career Guidance Center profiles more than
3,300 of today's most exciting jobs in more than 90 industries. It also offers important information on career preparation, including scholarship listings, academic and non-academic program listings, and an employability assessment.  Gale Databases Gale Databases includes access to: Peterson's Testing & Educational Reference Center, which includes on-line practice tests and test prep eBooks for several college, graduate school, and licensing exams, plus the G.E.D.; information on colleges, graduate schools, vocational schools, distance learning programs, and other educational opportunities; and scholarship information. of America's favorite tools for researching genealogy. It combines digital,
searchable images of U.S. federal census records with the digitized version of
the popular UMI Genealogy & Local History collection, and other valuable

LearningExpress Library is a comprehensive, interactive online learning
platform of practice tests and tutorial course series designed to help both
students and adult learners succeed on academic or licensing tests. You get
immediate scoring, complete answer explanations, and an individualized
analysis of your results. Includes materials for civil service exams, GED,
ACT, SAT, and dozens of other tests and tutorials.
This resources is offered as part of the Tennessee Electronic Library. You will be asked to create
a username and password, to enable the system to track your progress and test
history.

The
Points of View Reference Center is
a full-text database for students that offers a series of essays presenting
multiple sides of current issues and controversial topics. The database provides
200 topics, each with an overview (objective background/ description), point
(argument) and counterpoint (opposing argument). The database contains a balance
of materials from all viewpoints, including hundreds of essays; articles from
leading magazines, newspapers, and other media; primary source documents; and
reference books. This database also includes the Video Encyclopedia of the 20th
Century, providing a searchable collection of some of the most important social,

 Find Articles is a free and easy to use resource that indexes many journals and magazines that include the text of their articles on the Internet.
 MagPortal offers access to the text of magazine articles available for free on the Internet. Perform a search or browse by subject.
