The next best thing to reading a book is discussing it with friends! There are many opportunities to be a part of a book club at one of the LPLS branches or online.
Linebaugh Book Clubs
Did you know Linebaugh Library offers book discussion groups? No matter what type of book you like to read, we’ve got you covered! All book groups meet in the Library Board Room on the second floor unless otherwise noted. Click on the links to see each club’s upcoming reads.
The Afternoon Book Club meets on the 1st Thursday of each month at 2 p.m.
The Tuesday Book Discussion Group meets on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 7:30 p.m.
The Lit Wits Book Club meets on the 3rd Thursday of each month at 6:30 p.m.
The Women for Peace and Justice book group meets on the 4th Wednesday of each month at 10 a.m.
The Science Fiction & Fantasy Book Club meets on the 4th Wednesday of each month at 6:30 p.m.

Smyrna Book Clubs
The Romance & More Book Club meets the 3rd Saturday of each month at 10 a.m. Bring a favorite book to present.

Smyrna and Rutherford Writers
Smyrna Writers meet on the second and last Saturdays each month from 12-2 p.m. Attendees are welcome to bring a short written work for peer review. For more information, contact Mel at 615-459-4884.
The Rutherford Writers group meets on the first Wednesday of each month at 7 p.m. and on the third Saturday at 10 a.m. in the Board Room at Linebaugh.
